Rachel: When I went to Connections, it felt a lot like family. Everybody was super supportive, no matter what you were learning that week or what was going on.
Molly: I knew she was very bright, but then I did see some of these deficits in her executive function skills, so cognitive processes.
Rachel: Everybody was always willing to cheer you on and it just felt like a community there.
Doug: It's been incredible to see the change that has taking place for Rachel and see her competence go up.
Mary: Connections really gave her the tools she needed to be able to do that and it's been really fun to watch her blossom and she just blossomed as a person.
Molly: She actually got into an undergraduate program. I think I had at Iowa State University and BYUI.
Rachel: I have planned to become a speech pathologist, so hopefully that works out for me in the future. One of the most important things I learned while I was at Connections is how to help people feel like they are not struggling alone. Connections, you're amazing. Thanks for everything you've done for me.
